Your ticket includes all the oysters for shucking, tasters from the chef throughout class, cocktail pairings, and/or wine. To keep you shucking, you’ll take home a Blue Island shucking knife.

This month discover how our oysters pair exceptionally well with Burgundy wine. Taste the crisp, clean flavors of the wine and how it complements the briny, oceanic taste of oysters, enhancing their freshness and creating a balanced, refreshing palate experience.

AUGUST MASTERCLASS THEME

A Dive Into The Five
PRICE: $85

Tasting all five species of oysters is a rare and exquisite culinary experience that showcases the diverse flavors and textures each type offers. The five species—Eastern, European Flat, Olympia, Pacific, and Kumamoto—each bring unique characteristics influenced by their specific habitats and environments. From the briny intensity of Eastern oysters to the sweet, buttery notes of Kumamotos, sampling all five varieties provides a comprehensive journey through the world of oysters, making it a highly sought-after and memorable tasting event for seafood enthusiasts.

A portion of the proceeds from each class will benefit the Blue Island Oyster Foundation (501(c)(3) whose mission is to protect Long Island waterways & environment through education, community involvement and outreach. @blueislandoysterfoundation

We appreciate circumstances can change. However, this event is subject to our policy:

If you cancel at least 5 working days prior to the class, we will reimburse your ticket 100%. We will not issue any refunds if cancelled within 5 working days before the class.
